Unlike traditional inkjets with moving heads, it features five fixed thermal print heads that jet CMYK dye-based inks simultaneously, delivering vibrant, water-resistant prints at stunning 1600 × 1600 dpi resolution with tiny 1.3 picoliter droplets for sharp details, smooth gradients, and bold colors. Prints emerge instantly dry, ready for immediate finishing or delivery. The printer achieves speeds of up to 4,520 square feet (420 square meters) per hour, producing signs in as little as five seconds, 30-foot banners in one minute, or 200 prints in about 20 minutes. It supports media widths from 11 to 42 inches (280 to 1,067 mm) and lengths up to 98 feet (30 meters), handling various types including bond, matte coated, gloss, backlit film, adhesive vinyl, banner fabric, and tear-resistant materials with weights from 64 to 190 gsm. Equipped with four roll drawers for up to 2,000 feet of media, two-liter ink tanks for uninterrupted runs, built-in cutter, optional stacker, and inline finishing like the Fotoba cutter, it ensures efficient workflow.
